The Cheyenne Youth Symphony is a non-profit organization made up of students in the 5th-9th grade from the Cheyenne, WY area. The Symphony was formed to provide an opportunity for string students to advance their playing ability and use their talents to perform with a select group of musicians.
Artistic Director Jaylene Willhite selects a variety of styles to be performed at each concert consisting of classical, folk, and pop.
Our musicians have the opportunity to play during the summer also. Fiddle Music is a great way to be part of the Frontier Days Parade
Every other year members of the Youth Symphony get the opportunity to travel to, and play, in amazing places.
We are starting rehearsals for the 24-25 season. We will rehearse at LCCC this year.
Junior Symphony will start at 5:45 and Concert Symphony will start at 6:45. Please bring any paperwork you haven't turned in or pay your yearly dues. There will be job sign ups the day before our first practice which will be September 3rd. Look on the Band page if you need more details.
